Floral Policy & Unauthorized Decorations Policy
Floral Policy
Do not place flowers or other items anywhere on the graves, other than at the headstone area. The placement of floral items on grave sites other than at the time of interment is subject to the following:
- Artificial flowers may be placed at grave sites year-round. All flowers that have become unsightly should be disposed of in the trash container at the Cemetery’s main entrance or rear waste area. Please do not leave trash on the side of the road.
- Fresh cut flowers are allowed on graves throughout the year. Flowers will be removed if they become unsightly or for the purpose of landscape maintenance.
- Interment flowers are allowed on graves the day of interment or until they become unsightly. Holiday decorations and Christmas wreaths are allowed on graves the first day after Thanksgiving through January 10.
- Flower pick-ups will take place at the end of all even months of the year, if they are unsightly and still remain on a grave site.
Unauthorized Decorations Policy
At no time can there be a display on the graves that includes glass, breakable items, permanent paint plantings, balloons, gardens (rock or other) built over the grave site, vigil lights, streamers, hanging ornaments, personal belongings, photos, shepherd’s hooks, hanging baskets, pin wheels, rocks, or other items that detract from the uniformity and aesthetics of the cemetery. See Cemetery Rules and Regulations for a full list of restricted items.
Thank you for helping keep the cemetery beautiful for the enjoyment and in honor of all those laid to rest here.

Cemetery Location: 801 N. Upshaw Blvd., Robstown, Texas
Floral arrangements accompanying the remains (casket or urn) at the time of burial will be placed on the dressed and closed gravesite (if outdoors). They will be removed when they become faded, unsightly or when it becomes necessary to facilitate cemetery grounds maintenance operations such as mowing. Our floral policy allows for fresh cut flowers to be placed on the gravesite year round. Small green floral vases are located near the cemetery office for this purpose. (Note that wildlife roams and may feed upon floral arrangements. In addition, any baskets, vases and potted plants will be removed and discarded to allow for mowing and trimming.)
The day of the burial, arrangements to have flowers, wreaths or other dignified decorations placed at the outdoor gravesites may be made by contacting a local florist and providing them with the gravesite location for floral placement to arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the service. Artificial flowers may be permitted to dress the outdoor gravesites during the turf’s dormant period (from 15 November to 15 March). Planting of trees, flowers, and shrubs by the public as memorials is prohibited.
Christmas wreaths and other dignified seasonal adornments may be placed on graves from 1 December to 20 January, however, these may not be secured to the headstones or markers (due to stone deteriorations and discoloration). Placing of flowers, wreaths or other decorations is prohibited in the Columbarium (due to environmental conditions). Minor children visiting the Robstown Cemetery must be accompanied by an adult.
